The Heritage House was created in the 19th Century as a
farmhouse an since then has seen many eras, from the Gold Rush to
Prohibition and then in 1949 restored by Mr. Dennen (a Hollywood
set designer) as what we know it as today, a quiet country inn and
location of the movie "Same time next year." Following a major
renovation, to be completed in late summer, The Heritage House will
begin a new era in the life of one of California's oldest hotels.
With breathtaking views, the 37 acre estate features private
cottages and luxurious guest rooms, signature dining and an
intimate spa set among spectacular gardens. The newest member of
the GHM's collection of luxury properties, this 45 guest room hotel
will be a lifestyle experience that is unique in its intimacy and
style, in an environment of comfort where service is exceptional
and unrivalled. -Renovations Information- Following a major
